New member George Croker had a marvellous day at Fontwell on the 21st August, making use of the Owners & Trainers tickets we make available to members if they contact us when they see Charlie Poste engaged to ride. This was his reaction :-

Our member David Fisher braved the weather at Stratford on the 14th August to watch Charlie ride. He had some luck, sadly Charlie didn't !

Thanks as ever for the tickets last night.

Saw Charlie just before we made tracks which was good. Thought his ran a bit flat like a few of Milton's recently. To his astonishment and many others, found Mr Parson at 25's so was a good evening all round!!

To the horse racing club
Just to say thank you for the ticket into Hereford races. I saw Charlie as I was sitting down and read the paper. We walked into together. I took a few photo's on my phone especially of horses I liked there were three in the first race that I took a photo of and one of them won the race but I did not have a penny on.
I had to leave just after the 4-10race to get home. My father is not very well at the moment and seems to be getting worse. I was glad to get to the races as I had not been since Marked Man won at Hereford last October.

Dear Stuart

Thank you for the tickets it was lovely to meet up with Milton and Charlie in the Parade Ring, I hope Magic Sky has recovered from the race, and returns to action in the not too distant future.

We had a great day and very nice to meet up with Peter again

Have you any idea yet about a day out to visit Miltons stable as myself Dad( Graham) and Peter would all like to visit, as I am sure other members would also like to go?

"I feel it necessary to write to say how much I enjoyed the day at Cheltenham on Saturday October 20th to watch Magic Sky run. It was a first class meal in the Owners and Trainers marquee and the racing was as usual top class. All in all a great day was had by everyone. It is such a great experience to attend when the club has a runner and it allows you to become an Owner for the day.

To go into the Paddock at Cheltenham is really MAGIC! Let's hope it will be the Winners enclosure next time!!"

Thank you very much for arranging the Owners Badges for Magic Sky at Sandown on Saturday.

It was an excellent experience ( unfortunately we forgot our camera! ) and certainly surpasses previous owner experiences that I have had.

Mr. Harris was very accommodating and friendly and it was pleasing to see "Magic" come back safe and sound and run a thoroughly genuine race.

I have to say that I think that The Horse Racing Club is certainly the best value out there and i believe that you could conceivably increase the cost of membership without having impact on the numbers involved.

"Many thanks to Stuart and Teresa from The Horse Racing Club for looking after us all whilst we were at Cheltenham on Saturday - It is a fantastic racing club to be involved with as within two weeks of joining I had a runner at Cheltenham along with a lunch in the Owners and Trainers marquee - not many people involved with other racing clubs can say that !

This was followed by a day at Hereford where I backed Charlie Poste on Marked Man to win a few pounds ! I would recommend the club to anyone interested in racing"

Nice to see your little note in the Racing Post on Saturday regarding Charlie moving to 3lb claim - I put in my scrap book along with other things about the Milton Harris stable. The horse ran really well at Ascot I hope some of the members went along to watch. I see he has 10-2 in the big race at Cheltenham.

Very pleased with the way the club is run my dad is telling everyone in the markets around about me having a meal at Cheltenham etc and the way we allowed to see the horse being saddled a first for me different to other clubs.

The staff were quite moody with one horse that I was involved with maybe they didn't like my face whereas we all seemed to get on well at the dinner table and I hope everyone else thought the same.

My girlfriend and I joined The Horse Racing Club because we have always enjoyed going to the races - and for only £99 per year we find it is excellent value for money - The daily tipping service is very consistent and to be honest we got more than our money's worth at Haydock when we were treated as owners for the day - We had a superb complimentary carvery luncheon, washed down with a glass of champagne and we were then able to stand in the Parade Ring before the race to speak to the trainer, jockey and our Racing Manager - We received 4 winners on the day from the Daily Information Service which meant that the whole day was fantastic !! - I would thoroughly recommend anyone who has an interest in horse racing and finding winners to join The Horse Racing Club and be a part of the action for less than £2 per week!!"
